      <description>Hi ALL,&lt;BR /&gt;I am having a problem with my Proliant ML 570 G3, running Windows 2003 server enterprise edition. The machine gets hang for few seconds and again became normal. But it is happening frequently.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the error from system event log is,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Source: symmpi&lt;BR /&gt;event_id: 9&lt;BR /&gt;Description:&lt;BR /&gt;The device, \Device\Scsi\symmpi2, did not respond within the timeout period.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In this machine six nos of LSI Ultra 320 SCSI 2000 series HDD are attached.&lt;BR /&gt;And Smart Array 6400 Controller, Version 5.68.0.32 Build 1 (x86)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please help and suggest in this regard.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The message that is recorded in the event log has no effect on the normal operation of the server and may be safely ignored.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can update the controller firmware for this meeasge to stop this message.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sudhakar&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you find above informative , assign points by clicking the KUDOA star in the left.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
