One of the slots had a way to extend room to fit 1,5'' extracting part of the front panel.<BR /><BR />In ML370 case it seems you need to use 2 slots to accomodate it:<BR /><BR />Device Quantity Position <BR /> supported <BR />HP StorageWorks <BR />Tape Drvs, Hot Plug<BR />DAT 72 Hot Plug 1 0-7 <BR /><BR />There are 2 drive bays types, 6 and 8 slots.<BR /><BR />There is also an extension for 2 aditional scsi bays under CDROM:<BR />ML3xx Two Bay Hot Plug Ultra320 SCSI Drive Cage 244059-B21 <BR />NOTE: The drive cage option kit (PN 244059-B21) has one 1" drive bay and one 1.6" drive bay, installed in two available removable media bays. <BR /><BR /> Wed, 09 Nov 2005 13:41:29 GMT Celso Medina Kern 2005-11-09T13:41:29Z https://community.hpe.com/t5/proliant-servers-ml-dl-sl/ml370g4-hotplug-dat72/m-p/3667964#M149810 Hi there,<BR /><BR />I was on a customer site the other day and we ordered a ML370G4 with 5 disks and a Hotplug DAT72.<BR />The DAT72 is actually 1 and 1/2 times the width of a normal hotswap disk slot, but the Sales Builder Tool actually allows this configuration - even though it doesn't fit in the slot.<BR />You have to purchase the extra disk cage to go below the CD ROM.<BR /><BR />Just to give you all the heads up if you haven't come across this,<BR /><BR />Or Perhaps you guys have a solution?
