How to change boot Raid? (HP smart array P400)

I was wondering how can I change boot raid?
I went into the Option Rom Configuration for Arrays(F8) on post screen.

On the ORCA screen, only 3 options are available. Create, View and Delete Raid.

On the ROM bios(F9), I can only choose which controller boot first. Not for choosing Raid.

I have 2 raid sets. Set A is Raid 1+0.Set B is Raid 5. By default, set A is boot raid.How can I change set B to be boot raid?

Server: HP DL380 G5

I would guess Set A is your boot disks and Set B is data disks.

DO you want to boot from set B? Or you want to convert set B from R5 to RAID 1+0?

from the options provided you cant change raid level online.

I am trying to test the performance of different Raid. Set A and B can be bootable.

I just want to know how I can change the boot raid. Right now set A is boot. I need to change set B is boot.

I don't see the "set controller as boot controller" option in ORCA.Here is my ref:

Smart Array controllers always boot from the first LUN of the first RAID created, that's not configurable.

As you say, if you have several controllers, you can chose boot controller order, but not boot LUN order.

I don't think I am using 2 controllers.
I am using the Raid controller P400 to setup Raid Set A and B.(Set A setup first.)

So...there is no way to change the boot raid? I have the delete/recreate all the raid to test set B(raid 5 with 3 disks)?

I found a solution

I has this problem and after many hours of searching i found the way to change the boot priority of arrays in hp smart storage

U must install "HP Smart Storage Administrator" i found it in "HP Smart Array P400 Controller" support page at:

install and open it and in the interface it have this option:

"Set Bootable Logical Drive/Volume"

it is in this path:

Smart array P400 (in left panel) ->configure -> Set Bootable Logical Drive/Volume
