ML110 Gen9 (web server and database server)

I have Proliant ML110 Gen9. I want to used the server for database that is localized in the office but then i want to make it possible for client to log into the server through a link on my website. Now, Im supposed to use a live IP address and open some port for the client. How can i use the live IP address and Local IP address on it

How to login? Using what? SSH? Special software?

This is an OS or browser question, not HW. What OS and browser versions to you have?
