Can not resolve QLogic driver dependencies on sles11sp3 (PSP 2016.10 / HP SUM 7.6.0)

Hi all,

our HPE Proliant DL360p Gen8 Server need the latest QLogic HBA Drivers, but we can't install this because there are unresolved packet dependencies.

All other updates from PSP 2016.10 installed successfully.

Error message: (manual install)

Hi all,

this issue is resolved by installing latest patches.

The driver was installed successfully, (THX to Massimo from the SLES Forum) but now there are new error messages in the messages log.

kernel: [ 84.758365] qla2xxx 0000:07:00.0: vpd r/w failed. This is likely a firmware bug on this device. Contact the card vendor for a firmware update.

Let's see if I get a firmware update...
