DL360 G7 SAS disk firmware update for one disk

Hi,

I'm building a DL360G7 server and it came with 5 disks (RAID5). I updated it with SPP 2017.4.0 and then decided I'd like to add another 300GB SAS drive to it to use as a hotspare (with an identical disk model number)

The storage controller now tells me that I should update the firmware on the disk, but when I run the SPP it is not flagging that the disk firmware needs updating.

I'm unsure how to update the firmware for this particular disk - I thought SPP was the method to do this but it is not doing it.

Any ideas?

You will probably will have to use SUM - Smart Update Manager.
