How to detect HDD position in server

Hi every one ;

I have a problem with the exact position of the hdd on a server that the client has to disconnect all hdd from server without marking their position

PLZ how i could know their correct position?

The HDD was installing with a Raid system

Depending on the server and Smart Array controller model many times the controller will see the drive positions have changed and print a message stating this fact and then a mesage saying it updated the positions. If your not seeing that, you will need to run the array diagnostics utility and provide the output to support. You can post the output here so others can try to assist
