Hello.

Recently we starting to have very annoying DIMM problem. In several servers we have twi sticks of DIMM that are Present but Unused. Sometimes this conditions turns into "Degraded", sometimes - not. Upgrading firmware, changing DIMMs, even chanchin system board - nothing helps. After few reboots error appears again.

Could anyone help us, please?)

Did you try to swap memory module in slot4 with another one from any other slot? If error appears on other slot too, it could be problem with memory module. You can also try to swap CPUs (they should be same so swap CPU1 and CPU2).

Thanks for suggestion)

Yes, we tried to mix all memory several times - result was the same, that's why we changed system board - we thought that there were broken slots. But after replacing the unused memory appered in the same places that before.

What about CPUs - we also tried this. No effect.

Did you ever solve this? Can you update your question with the result or is the problem the same? We have the same problem and cannot fix.
