DL 380P G8 - best hot swap SSD if possible

Hi all,

I was looking for a good enterprise ready SSd for the server DL 380P G8, the present configuration is RAID 1 with HDDs but i was looking to replace 1 HDD with an SSD , and then later on replace the second HDD with another SSD once the mirros is complete,

Any advice on SSD model if this is possible or ill go for another HDD

This is not possible. You cannot mix HDD and SDD (or even SATA and SAS) in a single array.

Consider backup/restore or clone data to a new created array.

What would you suggest which SSD to be used, and how would you go about this situation, the data is not much, less thank 200 GB
