SPP Install on Hyper-V 2016 Server

Have a new Proliant DL360 Gen 10 server. Have installed Hyper-V 2016 Server on it (not full Windows Server, just Hyper-V Server).

How do I go about installing SPP on this thing to be able to get such things as Smart Storage Administrator and Event Notifier? Are those even possible to run on Hyper-V Server?

If you mean Hyper-V 2016 Server on it (not full Windows Server, just Hyper-V Server) -> that`s CORE version without GUI

Ai`nt posible to add GUI on this one.

Only whay left there is to make full clean OS deploy by F11 Intelligent provisioning and the choose 2016 - GUI ( Desktop Expirence ) version

Download this version of chrome and unzip to a local folder. http://www.slimjetbrowser.com/chrome/win/chrome64_48.0.2564.109.exe

Map the folder via .net irc ilo console

On the server, Go to the cmd and execute chrome.exe (be patient, it load more slowly)

Download proper spp iso and map it to the .net irc console on server

On the sever go to the iso mapped and run sum_.....bat

Wait to load the service, when service is fully loaded it appwears a llink. Copy paste to the chrome window. And vuala! Install whatever you need.

Tonrun ssa gui.. etc , you need to find the exe on theri respective folder

I think hyper v server is not 100% core.

DONT INSTALL BIOS FIRMWARE. i have a problemmwith the versiion 1.36. The fans run permanently at 33% of it speed when. S100 controller is activated

I installed Chrome and can launch it. I have SSA installed, but cannot launch it......

try to run SSA from provisioning or boot SPP image.

That would work, but I was hoping to be able to run SSA without having to reboot the system.
