seems if you only have 1 session open to 1 server, it stays up. multipul servers all pointing at the same iso file causes the problem. normally not a problem but when you have mulitpul servers to rebuild its not good.

this is a bug! I have 4 servers, all pointing at the same ISO file.

I am running ilo 2.55, it seems if the connection is open for a while (because im installing windows), it says Ilo connection is been shutdown.

This is highly annoying as it disconnects the ISO file and breaks the installation. Dumb microsoft dont allow you to retry the installation and carry on, it just says fails.

I have set idle time to infinite in the settings.

How do i, or what is causing ILO connections to shutdown?

Hi!

To be clear your statement should be completed with the word concurrently (that's to say: not only multiple connections but multiple concurrent connections):

I have 4 servers, all pointing at the same ISO file concurrently.

Maybe this is a restriction of iLO (or maybe not)...

A problem may cause ILO to reboot and interrupt virtual media.

go to ILOs diagnostics page and check the status. have a look into the ILO logs too.
