Monitor Server Software

Hello,

We have a few ML350v10 and want to monitor them, for things like Raid Status, Disk Health, Server Temperature etc. Ideally get email alerts if certain conditions are met.

I find the HPE site a little hard to naviagte - can someone advise if there is HPE software for this task?

Right - I had downloaded HPE SIM.

Insight Remote Support - has a client / server type setup? Which component goes where?

What if I just want to run monitoring software on the server?

SIM is oversized for you.
You need either run insight rs on a single server and register all ILOs or just register all ILOs directly to HPE online.

For the online method connect to ILO and select Remote support.

For Insight RS software see

and select Insight Remote Support to get the guides.

If you have a iLO Advanced License you can do this without any Management Software.

Simply Log in the iLO Webpage > Administration > Management > Alert Mail

And go to "Remote Support" an enable "Connect this Server directly to HPE", than HPE notifies you, if something is wrong.
