Thanks, we have already tried upgrading ILO Firmware to 2.6.1 (server was not rebooted), but it has not helped.

Are you saying that instead of doing reboot from the command line, just pull the power plug, as this is most certainly going to help?

Hello,

We have HPDL380p Gen8 server. Recently we reset ILO as we were unable to login to ILO. Whilst the login issue has resolve, we are having issue with ILO information displayed in overview and system information.

The UUID , server serial number, system ROM etc are showing as UNKNOWN and most of the components under system information is showing as NOt available.

Do we really need BIOS upgrade and/or NAND format to resovle this issue?

Will rebooting the server will resolve this issue - as in can we get all the information back by rebooting?

If there is any other way, please advise.

Many thanks.

A complete power cycle might help (pull the plugs).

Update ILO to version 2.61 and check Diagnostics -> ILO Health.

Format NAND if needed, after pressing "Format" pull the power plugs.

After pressing "Format" ILO will reboot automatically.

At this point, pull the plugs and check ILO health again.

In ILO log you should see the "SD card formatted" message.
