    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have 2 DL380P Gen8 servers that need to be re-installed.&amp;nbsp; When I try to boot into Intelligent Provisioning it just skips it and boots to the C: drive with no error message.&amp;nbsp; It also will not boot to USB or virtual CD/DVD.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here is what I have tried already;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Updated the ILO firmware to 2.61 Jul 27 2018 via&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=5194969&amp;amp;swItemId=MTX_4772eb715cb842acbb03a6707e&amp;amp;swEnvOid=4184" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=5194969&amp;amp;swItemId=MTX_4772eb715cb842acbb03a6707e&amp;amp;swEnvOid=4184&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Updated ROM to 2018.05.21(25 Jun 2018) via&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=5194969&amp;amp;swItemId=MTX_f3beff88997d403b875b47fd1c&amp;amp;swEnvOid=4184" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=5194969&amp;amp;swItemId=MTX_f3beff88997d403b875b47fd1c&amp;amp;swEnvOid=4184&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Update Intelligent Provisioning to 1.64.0.0(2 Mar 2017) via&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=5194969&amp;amp;swItemId=MTX_01b900175afc4ae68be6c87b39&amp;amp;swEnvOid=4184" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=5194969&amp;amp;swItemId=MTX_01b900175afc4ae68be6c87b39&amp;amp;swEnvOid=4184&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Update Intelligent Provisioning to 1.70(9 Oct 2017) via&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=5194969&amp;amp;swItemId=MTX_67851618d0f1444993f262f0f6&amp;amp;swEnvOid=4184" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=5194969&amp;amp;swItemId=MTX_67851618d0f1444993f262f0f6&amp;amp;swEnvOid=4184&lt;/A&gt; using Virtual CD/DVD-ROM in the ILO.&amp;nbsp; This was unsuccesful as it won't boot from it.&amp;nbsp; It just sits with an underscore in the upper left corner of the screen and doesn't do anything else.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Check diagnostics in ILO.&amp;nbsp; Doesn't show any error.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Reformatted the NAND via&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=a00048622en_us" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=a00048622en_us&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Reset the server BIOS to factory defaults.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Tried a voodoo dance with no results.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Have probably tried other things as well that I can't remember right now.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Any help would be much appreciated.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Just know that I do not have physical access to these servers and can only, for the time being, access them remotely.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Eric&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I know you've stated you reset RBSU to factory defaults,. If you've only done this through RBSU, pull the cover and use SW6 of the maintenance&amp;nbsp;switch to reset&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am also having this issue.&amp;nbsp; I have an error message in the ILO Diagnostics page stating "&lt;SPAN&gt;Controller firmware revision 2.10.00 Embedded media initialization failed due to media write-verify test failure".&amp;nbsp; I have tried using the Intelligence&amp;nbsp;Recovery media and to no avail.&amp;nbsp; I just get Failed to write to NVRAM. I am unable to download any SPP software as I am out of warranty. This server is essentially a brick to me at the moment, which is sad because for an enterprise-grade&amp;nbsp;piece of equipment this thing sure does prove to be rather unreliable.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
