Hello everybody
We have a DL 380p gen 8.
We are going to add some new SAS Drive . Accurindg to information within Quickspec we found some new sas drives which are added to last version of QS (since Sep 2015). Can we order this drives and install them into our server? Or they belong to new version of server?
I mean, is server’s production time important?

Hi Salemmahara,

Good Day. If the drive is listed in the quickspecs of the server then you can go ahead and install the drive. But request you to check the controller quickspecs as well to check the number and size of drive capacity supported.

Quickspecs link:-

https://h20195.www2.hpe.com/v2/getdocument.aspx?docname=c04123238

Regards,

Bunsol
