HP Server P410I raid issues

I have an older HP DL360 G7 That i use at home. I have this really strange inconsistant problem. I have 8 240GB ssd's in my server configured with RAID5. I am running esxi 6.5 on my server. What happens is some times when I reboot the server the datastore doesnt show up. HOwever when i try to add a new datastore I can see the drive.(some times) other times i reboot it and the datastore doesnt show up in vmware nor can i see it when i try to re-add the drive. I just bought new sas cables, raid card, and battery and im still having the same issue.
