    <description>&lt;P&gt;Having issues trying to create a RAID 1 for my OS on either one of these smart array controllers. Anyone have any insights?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Current Config:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;DL360GEN10&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;P408i-a onboard &amp;amp; E208i-p in a PCI slot&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2 300GB SAS 10K for OS / 8 900GB SAS 15K for DATA&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Server 2016&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Used the&amp;nbsp;P11740_001_spp-2018.11.0-SPP2018110.2018_1114.38.iso for firmware/driver updates.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;During POST you can press F9 to get into system configurtation, or F10 to start Intelligent Provisioning.&amp;nbsp; Both methods provide a path to configure RAID arrays.&amp;nbsp; F9 is quicker method.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Select System Configuration -&amp;nbsp; Next select the Smart Array contoller listed - then select Array Configuration and Create Array&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is destructive and will wipe out any data on the disks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Gen10 Smart Array controllers are mixed mode controllers, you can either create arrays, or just use the drives as single drives&amp;nbsp; or a combination, but you need to create the array before installing the OS&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, this is what I've done but the drives come out all screwed up after the OS install.&amp;nbsp; It's like for whatever reason the RAID 1 config that I do for the OS doesnt get configured correctly.&amp;nbsp; Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Or, please share any screen shots of the issue that you see after installing the OS.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you have collected any logs, it would be of a great help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do reply with an update.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you&lt;/P&gt;</description>
