CPU x5690 not working on DL160G6!

Hi,

We're upgrading CPUs in Hp Proliant DL-160G6 from 2 x Intel Xeon x5675 to 2 x Intel Xeon x5690. When we mount x5690 cpus , server doesn't boot. We've also updated the bios but still in vain.

These CPUs are supposed to be supported on this chassis.

Awaiting your advice on it!

Intel Xeon x5690 is a High Performance/Wattage operating at 3.46GHz/6-core/12MB/130W, DDR3-1333, HT

Two different system boards are available for the ProLiant DL160 G6 server. Spare part number 511805-001 is used in the older Small Form Factor (SFF) models that use the lower wattage processors. The 608882-001 is a newer version of the system board that supports the Large Form Factor chassis and the 130 watt processors.

If you currently have supported system board 608882-001, raise a HPE support case to diagnose this issue further.
