P440 replace Smart array battery

Hi to all, I need to change a P440ar Smart Array Battery in a DL380 Gen 9 Performance. I want to know if is necessary backup all data of my raid disk or not, I don't want lose them.

Replacing a battery is not that critical.

However, you should always have a good backup strategy.
