Assuming you are running windows download and install latest BIOS and ILO firmware.

https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX_422fe550330c405395cabbd689&swEnvOid=4168#tab-history

https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX_f13420b102cb4101ab1befc470#tab-history

If you have other components, search the support center page for updated drivers and firmware. No need to use SUM for this update.

Hi, I need to get the SPP for a DL360e G8 Server so that I can use SUM because I am getting the following error.

Is it free, or do you have to have some kind of paid contract to get it?

I cant get the normal version of SUM to work.

You need contract or warranty to download an SPP.

However, if you have files you want to install using SUM, you need to copy them to L:\sum1\... in your case so SUM can find them.

Hi,

All I want to be able to do is scan my Server for applicable updates and have them installed.

But I keep getting that error message every time I look for a baseline.

Someone mentioned online that the version of SUM that comes as an iso doesn't throw that error and it can be found on the SPP.

The SPP as a collection of firmware and drivers or your own collection used as a baseline is used to mix and match what updates your server needs. you need such collection to compare.

Hi,

Yes and I thought that it would be simple.

I downloaded SUM and tried to run it but I got the mentioned error message when about the baseline.

I was following this guide, and the user mentions about getting hold of the SPP .iso to get around the problem.

But my Server is a second hand DL360e G8 and it is out of warranty. So I'm stuck.
