Hello Members,

I have an HP Proliant DL380p running iLo firmware 2.4. I would like to upgrade it to 2.7b.

This box is an esxi host running vsphere 6.0. I have found an CP*.scexe file, but it is for Red Hat x64.

Would this file be the same for vsphere 6.0? Where would I expand this file? or would I copy the file to the esxi host via ssh, and do an "sh CPXXXX.scexe", etc.

Thanks,

ewholz

You can extract the firmware file from either the Linux rpm or the Windows download and update via the web interface

Windows
https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX_f13420b102cb4101ab1befc470

Linux
https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX_a036734f9509476182a7980c31
