Hi,

Are you trying to make windows ISO image to USB Bootable and getting this error " ISO image extraction failure" ?

Try following

Extract the image, (use 7zip/winrar),
Navigate to the folder and delete autorun file (possibly readonly) ,
Use isocreate tool or any similar tool to make ISO image by selecting the extracted folder.

Now use the rufus again with this image,

Hope this helps.

If you feel this was helpful please click the KUDOS! thumb below!

Regards,

Sudhir

For creating a bootable USB device from a SPP you should only use the included USBKey utility.

There are config files included in the ISO that are used to create a bootable device.

The USB Key Utility hasn'tbeen updated since 2017 and doesn't support flash drives larger than 32GB. They want to require the utility, they should maintain it.
