Embedded Smart Array Not Discovered

Gents,

we do have brand new HP Proliant Dl180 G9 Server ,two hours after the deployment it will show (Kindly see the attached Capture ) this on pre boot message

disks are working fine i did test with defernt server

any idea why ?

Recommending to update the server with latest Service Pack for ProLiant-version-2020.03.0 https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX_8ccab9e4b99047138c2e608f97

Perform the complete power cycle and verify the functionality .

If you have observed issue again ,you need to log a support case with HPE for further investigation .

Hello,

I would suggest the follow the below steps.

1. How the hard disk connected with the hard disk backplane.

2. Are the hard disks directly connected with the hard disk backplane.

3. Is the SAS expander connected in between SA controller too hard disk backplane?

4. Re-connect all hard disk connection properly.

5. As per the snapshot is showing "Embedded Smart Array: not discovered". Please share the smart array controller detail.

6. Follow the below HPE ProLiant DL180 Gen9 Server - Cabling

i'm really sorry to bring this back again but it happens again after around 10-15 days of running

any further step should i take to troubleshooting ?
