Doing hardware RAID ( RAID1 ) with M.2 cards

Hi Friends,

We have 4 x HPE DL380 G10 Servers recently purchased.

We wanted to buy 2x M.2 riser card with 240SSD per server to enable hardware RAID (I know software RAID is possible).

Can I do a hardware RAID (RAID1) with these two cards?

Hello SreeNair,

Going by the quick specs of DL380 gen10 server, the M.2 will support only Software RAID

Extract from the Quick Specs as below:

NOTE: M.2 drives supported in the Primary Riser and use S100i SATA controller only.
NOTE: M.2 supports Software RAID only.
