DL385p Gen8 Smart controller error

in the Smart storage administrator for my ProLiant DL385p Gen8 the smart array p420i controller will not show up, the server gives me a 0x13 lookup code

it does show up if I look in the PCI setting of the server

Update HPE Smart Array Controller Firmware to latest revision,

POST Lockup 0x13 issue has been fixed in latest HPE Smart Array Controller Firmware,

But there is no operating system installed on the server yet so I'm not sure on how to install the updates or install the smart update Manager

Download HPE SPP iso image and boot your server with HPE SPP iso image to update server component firmware’s.

You can also use SPP interactive mode to update selective component firmware.
