I have a DL160 with Server 2019 on it, all up top date. All firmware is up to date (as of last week) across iLo, BIOS, IE, NIC, Drives etc.

For some reason the server will just restart at random times - usually 5-7 day intervals. There is nothing in th any of the windows logs (just the previous shurdown was unexpected at restart) & no dump files are created.

In the ilo log, immediately before the restart is "Host REST Login: " & "Host REST Logout"

There is nothing in the iML the hardware states in the iLo are all OK, there is no power event & there is no thermal issue.

However I found these two advisories which may give you some ideia related to the issue that you are facing.

https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-a00050465en_us

https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-a00060570en_us

Hope it helps!

Note: "While I am an HPE Employee, all of my comments (whether noted or not), are my own and are not any official representation of the company."

Sorry abvout the delay in responding, Ive just been leaving things to see what happen

Ive done that and set the workload profile to Virtualization max Performance, and its made no difference, it still randomly shuts down and restarts around about every 7 days
