We have a DL380 Gen 10. Windows Server 2016 was installed successfully, but with the incorrect RAID configuration. I asked that it be reset and that the OS be reinstalled with the correct RAID configuration.

Ever since the first installation, we have been getting this error message whenever we go through Intelligent Provisioning.

I have seen the YouTube videos on installing Windows Server on the DL380s, and have done this successfully many times before. Any suggestions on things I can try to resolve this error?

Hi,

I assume there are still some Partition fragments on the Disks.

Try this:

Start Windows Setup from USB (Rufus), DVD, DVD over iLO
Shift + F10 für CLI
Type DISKPART
Type LIST DISK and identify the hard disk number (from 0 to n disks)
Type SELECT DISK <n> where <n> is the SSD disk number
Type CLEAN
Type EXIT twice (once to get out of DiskPart, the other to exit the command line tool)
Reboot the server and start the installation again.

Cali

Thanks for this but as I mentioned in my post - I have seen these YouTube videos. All of these steps have been followed correctly. When the server reboots after installing through Intelligent Provisioning this is the error that I get.
