Since the server won't boot from the Server 2019 iso I thought I would try using Intelligent Provisioning (IP). The IP is quite old on the servers, 2.40.79 and only shows Server 2016 so I thought I would update the IP version.

All isos boot fine on a Gen8 server that is installed on the same network and on Virtualbox on my laptop. I do not have physical access to write the isos to a USB to insert them in the server and there are 7 servers to update which are spread out across a large geographical area.

The isos are readable as I have booted into IP on one of them, mounted the Server 2016 iso through virtual cdrom and am in the process of installing Server 2016 on it. This is proceeding, incredibly slowly.

Any thoughts?

The IP is quite old on the servers, 2.40.79 and only shows Server 2016 so I thought I would update the IP version.

Hi,

did you try to use the Active_X Applet?
It is a different (Old) Way to Mount the ISO with iLO and also faster than HTML.
iexplore.exe > iLO GUI > .NET Access
Cali
