problems availability Smart Array E208 controllers

For connecting a proliant gen10 server to a SAN (MSA) or tape drive we use a Smart Array E208 controller but i heard from our distribiteur there are problems with supply and they even said they do not expect to get them at all.

How do other users solve this, for example do you use the Smart Array E408 series, or are there other alternatives.

And then the problem of what is supported by HPE?

I'm curious about youre ideas and experience.

Hello @Chrisdus,

May be it is a region-specific supply issue. But I don't think generally there is any such issues.
Smart Array E208 is one of the supported Smart Array cards. You can use E208i, E408 or any other compatible Smart array cards.
