I think I found the problem. the P06192-001 is specifically for a 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processor, we actually downgraded these systems to a 1st generation scalable CPU.

Hi, we have a handful of DL380 gen10 servers that were running 64gb DIMMs (P06192-001) and Xeon Silver 3.2GHz scalable CPUs (4215R / SRGZE). We upgraded to Xeon Gold 2.8GHz scalable CPUs (6143 / SR3M7), and with those same 64GB DIMMs installed, they now show as unsupported during POST. We haven't changed any settings and haven't moved any DIMM slots. Every component we can upgrade has been upgraded to the latest available firmware. Thoughts?

Going down to 1 CPU and 1 DIMM yields the same error. Oddly, the new CPUs will work with smaller 32GB DIMMs. All memory is confirmed to be valid HPE Smart Memory and we're not running any other weird hardware in the systems, just a 10Gb NIC.

Any input is welcome. Thanks!

I sure will, just as soon as we verify the replacement DIMMs fix the issue.
