Unable To Download iLO 4 Version 2.81

Hi everyone,

I have been trying to download iLO 4 Version 2.81 at https://support.hpe.com/connect/s/softwaredetails?language=en_US&softwareId=MTX_729b6d22f37f4f229dfccbc3a9.

When I go to download I get this:

"Not Found

The requested URL was not found on this server."

Is it me? Or is it hpe's servers becuase after i hit download hpes website crashed and went back up after a hour.

No, it is not just you.

While I'm not too pleased with the fact I cannot download it during this current maintenance window, I am relieved to find it is not just me.

I've attempted to download the 2.81 firmware in both Windows (x86/x64) formats, Linux, and VMware. I receive the same result each time.

If I click the file link, I get the same Not Found page as you describe. If I right click and try to "Save link as...", the save as dialog pops up, and upon clicking the save button, the download instantly shows "Failed - No file".

Hopefully this is rectified before my maintenance window ends. I'd rather not put off the update to a later date.

Saturday afternoon and still down. Thanks for posting this - we've done a massive amount of updates and mods across many systems, starting last night - I figured I was getting punch-drunk when I had trouble even downloading an update:)

Update: It's working fine, as of 9/13.

Is this true?

If it is, I think it's time for my company to seriously look at migrating to another vendor.

Also, the provided links still don't work.
All links end with an 404.

No. No no no and no. I have a system (ml350 gen 6) that is WAY out of warranty and I updated its iLO even 3 years after its warranty expired.
