How to decode the MID byte sequence given for a system power fault

I just got a system power fault after my Microserver Gen8 had the power cut to the system board. It appears to be the same issue as in ths issue, but to contact HPE support.

I've noticed in some other threads an HP employee decodes the byte sequence and give the OP extra information about the power fault. Can someone point me to documentation on how to decode these byte strings? It would be great to have for when HP stops providing support for the Microserver Gen8 (which already might be the case).

The system power fault description is: System Power Fault Detected (XR: 10 00 MID: FF F5 FE 01 FF FF FF 06 06 00 00 02 00 05 80 40 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00)

As referenced above there have been HPE employees that have been able to decode the byte sequence. Now that the Microserver Gen8 is out of warranty and discontinued. Who do I need to talk to to get HPE to release documentation on decoding these byte sequences?

Hello,

HPE needs to decode this using the internal AHS viewer tool. There is no documentation as such.

For this error, it is mostly likely as system board fault and the board needs to be replaced.

Please log a case with HPE support. As the server is OOW, this would be a chargeable service.
