DL380 Gen9 Unable to boot into BIOS

I got a DL380 Gen9 today, I am able to boot into OS, but BIOS (F9 system utilities) is giving me a black screen with white cursor. I am currently on version P89 for BIOS. This is a new server for me so I have no idea if BIOS was working beforehand.

Tried switching to redundant ROM with no success, cleared NVRAM with dipswitch 6, tried legacy bios with dip switch 7. No success. Any ideas what to try next?

Thank you for the Post.

Could you please confirm if you are trying to access F9(BIOS / System Utilities) or F10 (Intelligent Provisioning)

If the issue is to access F9, we can try updating the BIOS to the latest available version to check if that helps.

If F10 is not working you can try following the steps mentioned here to enable : https://techlibrary.hpe.com/docs/iss/proliant_uefi/UEFI_Gen9_121417/s_disabling_intelligent_prov.html

Also try to check connecting KVM to see there is any difference.

The issue ended up being an unsupported SAS card - apparently LSI cards aren't compatible in HPE systems?

I got a smartarray card and am able to access BIOS now.
