Jan,

I got the same answer from HP/Compaq. I changed the regional settings and installed it again. In startmenu/Programs/HPRPM a shortcut was added to https://hostanme:3257/webpages/login.asp, but the link did not work. If I look with netstat -a nothing is listening or active on port 3257
If I get an anwser from HP/Compaq, I will post it here.

Hi,

I installed HP Rack and Power Manager on a Proliant 5500 (W2k). The services are started, but when I try to browse to it with https://hostname:3257, I get "Page cannot be displayed".
Does anyone have an idea to solve this problem ?

I know with iLO, you have to connect to http first, which then redirects you to https (this is for the certificates to match). Perhaps the RPM 1.0 requires you to connect to http instead of https and it then redirects you automatically...

Just a thought.
Nelson

hoi,

make sure that RPM is uninstalled before changing the regional settings

than change to "English US"
install RPM (you should have more than the uninstall icon)

you can change back your regional settings

connect to RPM via https://machinename:3257

this worked fine with us

grz
