I have a question about it.

I'm currently using the 2008 version of Windows Server
What are the maximum upgradeable versions of Windows Server?

Also, is there any cost incurred?

I think it's Gen8.

This component can only be executed on Windows x64

Can't I update it unless it's Windows x64?

Supported OS are listed on the left hand side.

You can choose the one you need and the rest will list accordingly.
