hello we just purchased a HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 Plus Server after placing the ram memory this gives me an error 3047 - Unsupported DIMM Configuration detect Processor 2 DIMM 14 has population violation due to an event has led to an unsupported configuration Code:00000017

I have 8 Dimms of 32GB each one, try with 4 dims and it works fine but when I put the 8 dimms it presents error, check the memories and all of them are good, any idea?

please follow the Memory Population guidelines here HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 Plus Server, at Page 71.

Then it should work.

hi @Cali

I have followed these indications to the letter so much that I already have it in my memory.
3 ,7,10, 14

If I do it in that combination of 8 Dimms
If I do it in the combination of 2 DIMMs 3 14, it works.

3 ,7,10, 14 looks also good to me

Maybe one Dimm is faulty?
Did you try only with 3,14 with the new one?

I tested all the DIMMS on 3, 14 to see if it is a Dimm that has a problem and everything is OK.

Well, if no one else comes up with something, then the usual thing comes, i.e. firmware update and support case.
