Installing HPE Smart Array E208e-p SR

Good morning,

I have two Proliant DL380 Gen10 servers and I would like to install HPE Smart Array E208e-p SR cards to access internal drives of one server from another. My question is how to configure the server. The accessing server is Vmware ESXi and the one being accessed is Windows Server 2022.

Hello,

Once the cards are installed apply the latest Gen10 SPP to update the firmware. You can then access Smart Storage Administrator (SSA) to configure the RAID for the drives in the server.
Launching SSA during POST

Press F10 to start Intelligent Provisioning.

A menu appears, listing options for launching HPE SSA.

Select HPE SSA.
