Bonjour,

POST Error: 1797-Slot X Drive Array - Cache Data Backup or Restore Previously Failed or Cache Read Error Occurred and data in Cache has been lost.

Merci d'avance.

Nicolas

Hello,

I am contacting you today because I have an issue with an HP ProLiant ML350p Gen8 server equipped with the Smart Array P420i Controller (Ver : 5.42). I also tried a cache card, but it is not being recognized.

I'm running out of ideas. If you have any information or advice, I would be grateful.

Thank you in advance.

Nicolas

Hi,

I would suggest replacing the battery and the cache module together and make sure to update the smart array controller firmware to the latest version
