Good morning, if someone could help me giving a solution because in the latest months all new servers Proliant ML30 Gen10+ become very very slow after installing latest video driver for Matrox g200eh3 , I have also dowloaded latest bios firmware and latest chipset package but the system goes slow anyway to limit of the possibility of use, I repeat we have purchased many unit of NEW ML30 Gen10+ and this problem appears immediately after installed windows Server 2022 and Matrox video drivers. Please give me a definitive solution because all our customers are not satisfied of the performace of the new Proliant Ml30 Gen10+ due those problematics, slow refresh, slow mouse pointer movement, slow web page scrolling, a total customer experience disaster for a new hardware paid $$$$.

Hi,

Does the server work fine if you go back to Basic drivers by removing the Matrox drivers?
If you see the Revision History, the Version: 9.15.1.248(C) (28 Nov 2022) states that it Removed Gen10/Gen10 Plus platforms.
Why dont you try with Version: 9.15.1.248(B) (28 Sep 2022) ?

Sorry, but I have tried with ALL Matrox G200Eh3 driver versions included Version: 9.15.1.248(B) (28 Sep 2022) but no results, I have installed from ZERO variuos NEW servers using only DVD win server 2022 STD an a normal SSD directly attached on board, installed chipset an all drivers and ALWAYS only after installing ANY version of this Matrox driver the system change resolution and becames grapically slow, mouse is slow and sometimes blinking, even opening the Winlogon is slow and you can see the image drawing!! ...not to mention how badly any YouTube video can be seen in jerks, lag also from the initial advertisments, totally horrible and unwatchable!! ...How did they think I can give a server like this for managing 25 remote desktops clients with this latency on video graphic adapter?? Someone has to solve this problem because all server of various company includes this shoddy and poor quality video card adapter.

Hi,

I have a doubt weather this server really has a Matrox video card.
QuickSpecs specifies just Integrated Video Standard, where as QuickSpecs for DL20 Gen10 Plus specifies Integrated Matrox G200 video standard.

If these are new servers, consider contacting HPE Support and get it confirmed about the video controller.
What controller these servers have?
What is the right driver?

Hi,

we have downloaded the OFFICIAL driver as usually from HP ML30 Gen10+ OFFICIAL HPE website support....

those ML30 Gen10+, Gen10, Gen9,, an of course ML 310 Gen8, Gen8 V2, ML110 Gen7, Gen 6, Gen5 series have ALL the same one Matrox G200eXX series (ligltly differences versions but same extremely basic basic basic model with low/zero performance ) from many many years we have used this video adapter integrated on board, now with windows server 2022 ( and previous Server 2019 same similar slowly problem) ....we have reached the end of the line, the system goes very slow and is completely unusable, it seems like using an old Windows CE,, and now we are in 2024 year and it is not possible to have the same Windows CE experience nowadays. same problem evidenced in all other manifacturer of servers hardware, like Lenovo, Dell etc. this is the same awful experience using windows after installing video driver, system collapse and video drawing is ridicolous and too much slow for any person who use this server.
