Hello everyone,

I have a strange issue with a HPE Proliant ML110 Gen11 Server, running latest Windows Server 2022 bare metal install. The issue is that the highest resolution available on the server is only 1024x768.

The server only has a VGA port on the back side, which should support up to 1920x1080 as stated in the technical specifications. It is connected with a new VGA port to a HD monitor which supports up to 1920x1080, and the same model of monitors is being used on end user work stations where the resolution works without any issues.

The server is updated with all the latest firmwares and drivers I can find:

System ROM U63 v2.16 (12/3/2024)

ILO6 Firmware Version 1.58 Feb 27 Mar 2024

Installed OS Windows Server 2022 (with latest updates) – Installed on RAID5 Array (3x SATA SSDs, using the integrated Intel VROC RAID Controller (tSATA))

Anyone have any ideas as to what is the cause of this issue and how to resolve it? I haven't found any specific graphics drivers for this server.

I've tried a different cable and monitor, but we're unable to set the resolution any higher.

And I've already opened a ticket with HPE Support but have not gotten any kind of response for more than a week! (CASE-00117819)

The links to the documents provided are from 2004, so totaly useless in this case.

And I have looked at the official documentation for ML110 Gen11 server and have not been able to identify anything that would effect and or resolve this by enabling a higher resolution.

Yes this was it! Thank you!

I went through all the drivers listed for ML110 Gen11 but was never able to find this one, didn't think there was one.

Installing this instantly resolved the issue.
