Have just recently started to get abends on the server and chk the log and points to a memory problem. Using Viking EDO 128 chips. System shows all of memory sometimes then it will show a pair gone. Could this possible be the expansion board going bad or is it a case of bad memory. We started troubleshooting by trying to take mem off of exp board but keeped getting different readings any ideas would be appreciated

Hi Thomas
Unfortunately non Compaq memory is not supported. The only help might be system board firmware update but if you still get the same error remove the non Compaq memory. If you need parts or the Compaq spare parts store phone number let me know

regards
