      <title>1703 Drive Array Controller Failure</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;i tried to configure the controller set-up using f8 on my ML350 G6 server but it displays "1703 Drive Array Controller Failure " it does not proceed to controller set up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any help?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

The cache module or controller has failed. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Action&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Disconnect power from server =&amp;gt; Removed RAID controller card =&amp;gt; clean it and slot =&amp;gt; check if there is any cache and battery installed/connected =&amp;gt; if found cache module installed =&amp;gt; remove and refixed =&amp;gt; refixed controller and try to power on. if possible please update BIOS, ILO, controller firmware codes.&amp;nbsp;If error persists, replace controller or both.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hope,&amp;nbsp;I could provide you with clear and helpful instructions.       <description>&lt;P&gt;the currect os of this server is Win server 2012 R2 , with 1 faulty (amber indicator) on the 300GB hot swappable hdd- a total of 10 hdd, then we tried to turn it off for how many months due to no available UPS. Now, if we turn on the server and tried to proceed to first boot cd(os) to reformat the OS, no storage detected or no disk available for installing the OS. i also tried to run the smart start (CD) to check the problem : under array configuration utility , it displays "no controller found" that's why i would like to configure the controller using F8 .&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
