I am having the same problem. DL380 G9, Windows server 2019. There is an ILO controller driver update, but it does not match the plug and play ID for the controller which is PCI\VEN_103C&DEV_3306. Instead it contains PCI\VEN_103C&DEV_3307. I have not seen a driver for the former for Windows Server 2019. I did find an older driver that works with Server 2012R2 but won't install under 2019.

I realize this is a really old thread but I have to chime in anyways. Recently for some unkown reason I lost the CD/DVD Drive in the Device Manager of my HPE Proliant ML110 Gen 10 Server, I also noticed there were some other Unkown Devices listed in the Device Manager under Storage Controllers so I started searching for a resolutuion and came across this thread about installing the latest SPP to solve the issue. So, I dowloaded the latest SPP for my server from the HPE Software Center and ran the ISO, chose the auto and not the interactive mode using the Smart Update Manager, all the steps completed successfully with no errors, restarted the server and none of my issues were resolved, the CD/DVD Device Driver still not listed in the Device Mananger nor any of the Unkown Storage Controller Device Drivers were installed or updated during the SPP SUM process. So, I ended up having to go to back to the HPE Support Center went to the Drivers and Software Tab drilled down using the Subtype: Storage Controller, Operating Envirnment Type: Microsoft and the Operating Environment Subtype: Windows Server 2016 and only one driver was listedHPE Smart Array Gen10, Gen10Plus and Gen11 Controller Driver for Windows Server 2016. So, I dowloaded it and ran it on my server and Presto the CD/DVD Drive now was listed in the Device Manger and all of the Unkown Storage Controller Devices too. So, the moral to this story is don't always count on the latest SPP to resolve your Device Driver issues. Sometimes you have to dive deeper into it to resolve the issue/s.
