Firstly to all the trolls who post links for badges jog on..waste somebody elses time!

I have a NVME cage for my ML350 Gen9 and all the HPE part numbers and parts sufer numbers are incorrect "as usual"

See pic 1 shows the NVME enablement kit and the cable part numbers which i have although the Y cable is obviously not for a ML it fits the DL although it says this...

There are New HP 807479-001 779328-001 Proliant ML350 Gen9 Backplane SCSI Power Cable on eBay however although the picture is of a 6 plug ML350 gen8 model like this...
Although they have it listed as for a gen9 it is a gen8 6 pin plug model

Does anybody have any real world experience out there and know what the real part number would be as they have bought and actually installed one on a ML350 Gen9?

The part number "774741-B21" is an HPE DL380 GEN9 NVME 6 SOLID STATE DRIVE EXPRESS BAY ENABLEMENT KIT.

The document titled "HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen9 Server - Option Parts" indicates that the part number "726551-B21" is HPE ML350 GEN9 NVME 6 SOLID STATE DRIVE EXPRESS BAY ENABLEMENT KIT.

Between the above mentioned server's, these parts appear not to be interchangeable.

Another HPE person pasting part numbers who doesnt know what they are talking about you are the same trolls as i asked not to past links and you work for HPE the same company who cant get there part number sorted correctly cant make a website that scores above average on lighthouse hires trolls like you who have no world experience and lead the troll charge on this forum wasting everyones time again and again,.

HPE have no customer service and no peple working for them who know how to do anything but paste links to part numbers that are incorrect.

I have extensively gone through part surfer and all HPE documentation and its all mucked up thanks to people like you who know NOTHING

Dont appear interchangable well that misc cable kit number if you search the net it leads back to the same DL380 part numbers not my ML350 part numbers.

Please know what you are talking about before pasting TROLL links.

Had it with HPE's lack of customer service incorrect documentation and incorrect part numbers and mployed part number pasting TROLLS.

IF THIS WASAPPLE I COULD RING THEM UP 7 DAYS ......

DOES ANYONE WHO IS NOT AN HPE EMPLOYEE PART NUMBER PASTING TROLL KNOW THE CORRECT Y CABLE NEEDED FOR A ML350 Gen9?

anyone can past links to parts numbers unfortunately HPE doent give enough about customers to have the correct parts numbers publish, have any form of customer service or hire "any people with any real world experiece or actual knowledge of the servers they are paid to know about.

I have just purchased a Y cable from ebay that is

HP 807479-001 779328-001 PROLIANT ML350 GEN9 BACKPLANE SCSI POWER CABLE

although it has a 6 pin Y cable and mine is a 4 the seller informed me he has sold dozens of these and everyone was happy.

Although i said to him his 6 pin one means its for a ML350 gen9, he said just buy it for the part numbers-so i did.

Very unfortunate HPE are unable to publish the correct part numbers online and hire TROLLS who know nothing other than how to paste the incorrect data.

THIS FORUM WOULD'NT NEED TO EXCIST IF HPE CARED ABOUT CUSTOMERS AND RESPECTED THEM ENOUGH TO HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE "LIKE APPLE" instead they choose to go down the customer loyalty guillibility route and although IMHO HPE do have the best hardware their whole company needs a servere shakeup its just not good enough in 2024!

Looking forward to solving my own "opportunity" as HPE have dropped the ball

I have bought a cable that according to HPE's crappy incompetent documentation is the wrong part number.

When it arrives i will test it, and post the real solution from a real person who has actual hands on experience with a ML350 Gen 9

Please HPE employees stop pasting links to part numbers that HPE have wrong.
