Hi everyone,

Please is there someone that can assist me. I have a brand new DL20 gen11 server. Firstly i could not setup the raid on the server, every time I went into the iLO config, it said the raid controller is in read only mode to to a firmware mismatch.

I then went on to start updating the firmware through the iLo auto update and now its stuck in a update loop, it would do the updates, reboot and just start all over again. All option disappeared from the f10 menu and only the update option is available and it auto selects after a few seconds.

I do apologize, but this does not seem to help me. My server is stuck in a firmware update loop and I cannot even get into the bios.

Hello,

Power off the server, remove the power cable from the power supplies and press the power button to power drain.

Then connect the power cable to the server and see if it helps.

See if you can then access Intelligent Provisioning.

Regards,

Thank you so much, this has in a way sorted out the issue. I also removed the network cable and the updates failed, this letting me access the iLO again.

I've got the same issue. Shutting down and removing the power and network cable didn't help. Without the netwok cable the update aborted but after reboot the system went back to Self Update again. I'm lost at the moment. Could you give me any more assistance? Thank you.
