Correct - my apologies. Intelligent provisioning does not show up as outlined in the article. I do not have an option to enable it. It simply is not there.

I have recently acquired a HP Proliant DL360 G9. I'm definitely not used to this generation of server, as all of my previous HP Proliants were g7 or below. I am not finding any option for the intelligent design in the bios itself. No way to turn it on or off.

Is this something that normally comes on the micro-sd card that is installed on the machine? The one that is there currently, I believe, has an issue. It's an 8gb micro-sd card. I'm also not finding any downloadable device drivers or firmware upgrades unless I have a support contract? Is there some where else that I can find drivers and firmware for this device if I don't have a support contract? Just using this as a home lab server - But I do want to make sure I have it updated to the last known updates for the server itself.

Hi @dsjustin ,
I never heard about 'Intelligent design' in ProLiant servers. I assume, you are asking about 'Intelligent Provisioning' that helps in system configuration such as firmware update, Storage array & RAID configuration, OS installation etc.
If yes, this link tells about how to enable Intelligent provisioning.

Regards,
Shiva_jr

@Cali @shiva_jr So, I have downloaded the file IP287.2023_0703.5.iso and created:

A DVD

A USB

A Micro-SD

installation burned - however, when I boot to any of those options, I get the system utilities. No installation instructions come up and it doesn't seem to have any firmwares or installs associated with it. I'm at a loss here, what am I doing wrong? I would like to be able to use intelligent proviisioning, and the storage solutions to create a raid 5 drive with the onboard controller.
