Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM5719 Gigabit Ethernet does not show iLO4 NIC Infomation.

Hello Everyone.

I checked the Custmer server configuration information.

1. Model: ML350e Gen8 v2
2. Serial numbers: **~~Confidential info erased~~**
3. What happened

Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM5719 Gigabit Ethernet is not in the iLO NIC information.
It is displayed in the Linux ./f1_linux.sh command.
This happened on two ML350e Gen8 v2s.

Ethernet 1Gb 2-port 361i Adapter is displayed in iLO and dmidecode in /f1_linux.sh. The MAC address is the same, so it is the same HBA.

4. What I want to know

Why doesn't the BCM5719 show up in the iLO NIC information?

It happened on two machines, so I don't think it's a coincidence.
Does anyone have any information?
Could you share that information?

Hi @555-denoh,

Following may be the causes for the network issue. This model is named in HPE as "HP Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 331i Adapter." Refer Quickspecs page no.60.

1) Issue : Network adapter might be disabled in BIOS
Solution: Enabled in BIOS

2) Issue: Older adapter version of Driver and Firmware.
Soltuion : Network adapter driver and firmware must be updated

3) Issue: Server reboot may required after updading some of the driver or firmware.
Solution: Reboot the system once.
