Automating the Deployment for ProLiant DL20 Gen11 Servers

Hello,

I am looking to automate the deployment of multiple ProLiant DL20 Gen11 servers.

My goal is to automate the following setting:
* MR408i RAID configuration (2 virtual drives on a 6-disk RAID50)
* iLO settings (IP, user, password, SNMP, DNS...)

I'd basically just have some (XML?) files on a USB stick and tell the server to read this and configure itself.

Is "Intelligent Provisioning" providing that? How?
I tried to save a profile from the "Deployment Settings" to a USB stick, but couldn't find the file on it afterwards.

Yes, Intelligent Provisioning supports automated deployment using iLO RESTful API or HPE Smart Storage Administrator Scripting Toolkit. You can create a Gen11 JSON configuration file for RAID and iLO settings, place it on a USB, and use Automated Deployment Mode to apply it. Check HPE’s documentation for exact syntax and supported options!

Thank you very much for your reply! Our servers are completely offline, so I'm not sure how the RESTful API would help me. I tested your solution from the ''Deployment" part in Intelligent provisioning and then exported the configuration JSON to the USB. The RAID and network settings were saved, as you mentioned. Do you know where can I find the information about this JSON format? It would be greatly appreciated

Even though Raid and Network info are there, the ILO settings are not. I am also interested in automating settings such as: Access Settings, ILO Network Settings, Account settings, SNMP, Disk Encryption. And I checked the JSON manually and I cannot find anything relevant there.
