Hi @Edu1 ,
You can use the iLO without adding the license. But it will have some limitations and scope of iLO use will be for some basic health monitoring, Remote, Event logs etc.
If you get the Advanced license, following are some of the key features that you can enjoy-
a. Remove console with full access
b. Virtual media mounting
c. Remote power configuration
d. Firmware update options etc.

You can get the following licenses, for more info, you can refer page 15 of this document.
HPE iLO Advanced Electronic License with 1yr Support on iLO Licensed Features E6U59ABE
HPE iLO Advanced Electronic License with 3yr Support on iLO Licensed Features E6U64ABE
