    <description>Well, there is your problem - now the question is how to fix it...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is it an array controller of sorts?  Is it a Compaq part or an Adaptec card.  If you can get the spare part number - someone could probably find out what type of card it is.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Either way you'd have to get it replaced.  I highly doubt your 1600 is still covered under warranty which would mean you would have to purchase anther card.  If replacing with a different type of card - you would probably battle with driver issues.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Thanks for your help Dave.  I found the part number amd I'm going to our scrap yard to try to find a replacement.&lt;BR /&gt;You were right about the warranty.</description>
